AES# 03-90-VAN
AC Pass Filter Lead for Snap-on Vantage PGM

Ships within 1 Day

Overview
The Snap-On Vantage PGM does not offer AC input coupling, this makes it difficult to troubleshoot alternator ripple and other signals. Not a problem with the AES AC Filter Lead. It does the job for you by filtering out the DC (steady) portion of the signal so you can concentrate on the AC (always changing) signal, making it easy work to diagnose alternator ripple.

You can also use the AES AC Filter Lead to perform a cranking compression test since it allows you to focus in on small fluctuations in battery voltage!

Constructed of 6-feet of shielded cable terminating to banana plugs for both signal and ground connections.

Includes datasheet with setup instructions for the Vantage PGM and two insulated alligator clips (red and black).

Example of an alternator ripple waveform
This is a good example of an alternator ripple waveform captured with the AES# 03-90-van. The Vantage PGM cannot capture a waveform like this without this filtered test lead.
