Product Spotlight:
OTC Genisys and the AES Wave!
The
CD included with Pathfinder 2003 includes a program named REMOTE
DISPLAY. Once installed on your PC it allows you to dump screen
captures from the Genisys Scan Tool, Scope and Gas modules to your PC.
Use the update cable to
connect your Genisys ToolBox to initiate the download from the Genisys
to the PC . On your PC, click the PRINT SCREEN
button and it will print to your printer. More

For AES Wave users
If you want to save the screen dump for future reference do the
following:
1. Close the AES Wave! to prevent com port conflict with the OTC
software.
2. Open the OTC software named REMOTE DISPLAY.
3. Use the update cable to connect the Genisys to your PC port.
4. On the Genisys open the ToolBox and select the option for WIRED.
5. Initiate the download from the Genisys and then disconnect the
Genisys update cable from your PC.
6. Press the PRINT SCR button on your keyboard to copy the PC
screen to the Windows clipboard. This button is usually located to the
right of the F12 key.
7. IMPORTANT: Make sure the update cable is disconnected from the PC.
8. Open the AES Wave! and select EDIT / PASTE to paste the image from
the windows clipboard into the AES Wave! Your image will look
similar to this:
9. From the icon bar of the AES Wave! click the "Save To DB" button to save it into your AES Wave! database
along with your other diagnostic information.

The Pico Automotive PC-based
scope is now available in two packages: Basic and Advanced. The
Basic Kit has fewer accessories and costs less. But they both have
