TecSkills 2004: the Educators Conference

ACDC has partnered with NATEF to bring schools, trainers, teachers, automotive shop owners, technicians, vendors and others together for one full day of information, classes, break-out sessions, a trade show and networking. Lots of good information on how to get shops and schools working together.

To be held on Friday June 4, at the Holiday Inn in Worcester, MA. Schedule:

8:15- 9:30 Electrical Analysis .. a new model of Ohm's law. 
Instructor:  Craig Van Batenburg
This "new model" has been under development for 3 years and is ready for the classroom. A free CD will be given to the first 50 schools that sign up for TecSkils. This new method works for the "hard to reach" student.  

9:30 - 10:00  Break .. Trade show is open. 

10:00- 11:30  OBD-II .. what is new and important. 
Instructor: "G", Jerry Truglia
This will bring you up to date with what is new, what is happening right now. "G" has written two books on OBD-II and runs the training program for OBD-II in Alaska and New York.  

11:30 - 11:30 Trade show open

12:00 - 12:30 Key Note Speaker, Stan Stephenson. "The Future of Technicians" 

12:30 -1:30  A Working Lunch. Round table discussions. 

1:35 - 3:00 Hybrid Technology..the future car.

The Hybrids are here. Your students need to understand what it will take to service these high-tech, high-voltage wonders. We will have hybrids to drive in the parking lot. The first 50 schools will leave with a FREE CD of the presentation. 

3:00 - 3:30 Trade show open

3:35 - 4:00  Hybrid Technology..the future car.  Ride and Drive 

4:10 -5:00  Panel Discussion. Raffle prizes, awards given.

5:00 - 9:30 Trade show, more raffle prizes.
