Standalone Mode Capabilities
The C20 performs all functions required of a professional level OBDII diagnostic scan tool:
- Supports SAE and ISO (9141-2 and 14230) protocols.
- Retrieves freeze frame data.
- Retrieves stored and pending Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)
- Gives DTC description for Generic P0XXX codes.
- Displays 4 PIDs on live update screen.
- Displays graph of one PID at a time on the screen.
- Retrieves readiness I/M monitoring data.
- Turns off "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" lights.
- Clears freeze frame data and DTCs.

PDA Mode Capabilities
When connected to a Palm OS or Pocket PC PDA the C20 has all the capabilities of Standalone Mode as well:
- Uploading tests screen shot to a PC via HotSynch.
- Offering both English and Spanish language.
- Providing save/replay feature for data stream.
- Offering Metric and English scaling.
- Reading and displaying up to 120 data frames with graph.
- Having a snap-to-signal cursor for accurate interpretation of data.
- Allowing off vehicle screenshots display.
- Giving a variable parameter update.(i.e. Low update display for temp. sensor and high update ratio for Oxygen sensors).
- Providing an upload screenshot to PC and for use in various programs including E-mail.
- Including a winreplay desktop utility to analyze and compare recorded data stream parameters.
