Oh No!
Fire! Fire! Fire in the Shop!

A customer recently had a fire in his shop that seemed to only destroy his diagnostic equipment.  He believes it was caused by gasoline fumes. Three fire extinguishers were used but did not put out the fire.  Eventually the fire department showed up and dowsed it.  Luckily, the owner's Insurance is covering the damages.  Lessons learned:
1. Insurance comes in handy.
2. Keep an inventory of your tools.
3. Have fire extinguishers nearby that are appropriate for the type of fires that can happen AND that is larger than required.
4. Learn how to use them.

We have heard that Halon fire extinguishers are very effective but they are being phased out because they deplete the ozone layer.

Accessories for the Snap-on MODIS

Test Drive Test Leads
The MODIS is great tool but it's lab scope test leads are too short for test drives. Plus, when using multiple channels ground stacking becomes a problem. The ST3 Test Lead Kit for Snap-on MODIS solves these problems.
