All your diagnostic calculations in one software application! Designed by technicians, for technicians.
Diagnostic calculations such as: volumetric efficiency (VE), lambda, and combustion efficiency (CE) have gained popularity in recent years. Until now, all of these calculations have not been available in one place.
DECS (Driveability and Emissions Diagnostic Calculation software) has put all of these calculations together in one application. No more looking at a gas analyzer for one calculation, a web site for another, and a software program for yet another. Everything a technician needs is now at his/her fingertips.
DECS is a compilation of diagnostic calculators, some already commonly used, to aid technicians in diagnosing driveability and emissions issues. These calculations have been improved upon and assembled in one application in order to streamline the diagnostic process.
In addition to the calculations mentioned above DECS incorporates many more calculations that can be of valuable diagnostic use. And unlike most other calculators, DECS supports multiple fuel types. Alternative and flex fuel vehicles become more common by the day. DECS allows technicians to use these calculations accurately on a much wider range of vehicles.
Input your data and let the calculators do the work. DECS will even highlight results in bright RED that appear to be out-of-range, questionable or undesireable.
CD Contents The CD contains the following calculators: • Lambda (for Gasoline, E85, CNG, and more) (for Pre- and Post- Cat) • Combustion Efficiency (also for multiple fuels) • Volumetric Efficiency • Fuel Requirement • Air Fuel to Lambda • Catalyst Efficiency • Emissions Reduction Goal Calculation • Various other Conversion Calculators Click here for a review of each calculator •Email support and Updates are free of charge to registered users.
PC Requirements Windows compatible PC running Win 98 or higher.
