| While this process is not
complicated there are several items you must keep
in mind when e-mailing an AES Wave! record. 1. Older versions of the AES Wave!
save graphics in a database format (dbg
extension). These files can only be read by users
of the AES Wave!, before sending graphics with a
dbg extension make sure the recipient also uses
the AES Wave!
2. Databases converted over
from the old AES Waveform & Analysis
DOS-program use files with a WFM extension. These
too can only be read by people using the AES
Wave!
For people without the AES
Wave! you need to convert these graphics to a gif
or jpg format. Simply open the record, select
FILE|SAVE AS and choose to save the graphic only.
From the listbox select jpg or gif. Select SAVE
and choose a name and location for the file. You
will need to list this file as an attachment to
your e-mail.
To e-mail friends with the
AES Wave! or to e-mail records from AES Wave!
v.1.5.52 or newer, continue on.
