Sorry, the 3000-series PicoScope is no longer available. It has been replaced by the 4000-series.
This 2nd generation Pico scope offers support and power in an affordable and flexible package: * 4-channel scope * Sampling rate of 20MS/s (10 MS/s for 2 channels) * 12-bit resolution * Buffer/memory at 512k samples * High voltage measuring range at +/- 50 V * 60-preloaded tests and waveform references * Free software upgrades Also, power to the scope module is now supplied via the USB port!
This package contains the PicoScope 3423, a 4-channel, USB-connected scope. Also includes PicoScope automotive software! Great for basic and advanced testing whether your a PC-novice or a Master Technician. Note: 2-channel also available Click here.)
Powerful and easy-to-use PicoScope Automotive software includes: Technical reference library of tests Tutorials on over 60 topics Sample waveforms Video Tutorial (added Aug 2007)
The PicoScope Automotive also includes a complete test accessory package, the hardware: PicoScope module and cables amp clamps ignition pickups test leads probes hardcase See complete list at the bottom of this page!
High Performance: Vertical Resolution and memory buffers Unlike most digital storage oscilloscopes, which typically have 8 bit vertical resolution and poor DC accuracy, the PicoScope is accurate to 1% and has 12 bit resolution. This gives a vertical resolution of 4000 'dots' compared to the usual 100 or 200 of most other automotive scopes.
As well as the high vertical resolution, PicoScopes also feature large memory buffers - making it possible for you to capture large, complex signals and then ZOOM into areas of interest to show the fine detail of the signal.
Professional-level testing Use the PicoScope to diagnose faults in: ABS, crankshaft, camshaft, MAP, MAF, throttle position, knock and lambda sensors Primary and secondary ignition circuits Glow plugs and timer relays Fuel injectors Fuel pumps Alternators and starters CAN Bus and many other sensors and actuators.
The drop-down menus and toolbars of the PicoScope display will be familiar to all users of Windows software. The Automotive drop-down menu in the menu bar is an important feature of the Automotive software. It displays a selection of the common measurements that can be taken using the Automotive Kit. When you select one of the measurement options from the Automotive menu, PicoScope will automatically: 1. Load a sample waveform appropriate to the chosen measurement 2. Change its settings to the defaults for the chosen measurement 3. Display a web-based help page with information on the accessories needed to take the measurement, setting up the equipment, example captured waveforms and any additional technical information that may be useful.
