The Typical Key Making Process
- Identify the key type (mechanical, transponder, remote, remote head, smart chip), you can also visit NitrousKeys.com and enter the YMM.
- Get the appropriate parts from the key bundles (remotes or build-a-key). For a bladed key, use the Triton PLUS to decode and duplicate the key, or manually enter the known cuts for any key type.
- Program the key or remote to the car using the AutoProPAD G2.
- Test the new key/remote to verify correct performance.
