Modern vehicle electronic systems may seem complex but diagnosing them can be made easier by using / developing a solid testing foundation. Using wiring diagrams, along with a multimeter or a scope, this class will teach an efficient and practical diagnostic game plan to approach automotive electronics. The focus of this training is on actual testing of broken vehicles, which makes this an excellent class for both experienced and less experienced techs.

Topics Covered:
•    Tooling advice for successful testing & a short review of electrical theory
•    Automotive electronics testing foundation
•    Using wiring diagrams to understand and simplify circuits and to identify testing locations
•    Anticipate what your multimeter will read at your chosen test location
•    Case study & diagnostic examples of broken vehicles using the testing game plan
•    Throughout the class we will build up to some challenging examples of electrical diagnostics
