More Info

Low priced, high current probe with large jaw. Rated 1 to 600 Amps.
Features a zero-wheel and an output calibration of 1mV/Amp. This probe is ideal for testing starter and charging systems, relative compression testing, etc.

This high amp current probe can be used with scopes and meters such as the Snap-on Zues, Verus, VantagePro, and Modis, UEI scopes, graphing meter, and meters. In essence it can be used with any scope/meter that displays a voltage in digital or waveform format and has inputs for 4mm banana plugs.

Frequency response: 50-400Hz.

1-year warranty.

Warning
To connect this amp probe to scopes with BNC inputs you will need an adapter such as the AES# 08-88-m.

Starter draw current waveform

Use the 07-600 with your multimeter, graphing meter or lab scope to measure starter draw

Charging system current waveform

Use the 07-600 with your multimeter, graphing meter or lab scope to measure alternator current. Use a dual channel display to measure charging voltage and current at once! If you use your lab scope to look at the diode pattern, you have a complete charging system analyzer!

Relative compression waveform

Use the 07-600 with your lab scope or graphing meter to check relative compression. This is a quick way to isolate possible compression problems. Add a synch probe to your multi-channel meter and you can even pinpoint the offending cylinder.

Wrong input channel

Current probes output a voltage in response to current flow so they must be connected to a voltage input, not your meters "Amps" input.
