Hybrid vehicles are coming into shops with failed hybrid components – This class will offer a short review of typical hybrid layout, components & terminology and offer actual diagnosis of hybrid systems John has diagnosed and repaired. The focus of this class is on how these systems operate and how to test them. Diagnostic examples will include high voltage isolation issues, Not Ready problems, high voltage battery diagnosis, motor/generator diagnosis, warning lights on, and more. Also, learn more about hybrid scan data.
