Help your customers know when their car is ready to return for their follow-up emissions test with the IMready, a low-cost OBDII IM Readiness Monitoring Tool for the California emissions test.
Eliminate the cost and aggravation of your customer’s failed emissions test, use the IMReady Pre Tester to check monitor status before performing the California BAR-OIS test on Gas and Diesel vehicles.
QUICK
Runs in seconds. A yellow or red light means the car isn’t ready to pass. Connect the IMready to the OBD2 port on the vehicle and, with KOER, the pre test will run. The transluscent case aids in reading LED status from any angle.
EASY
Three LEDs indicate the result of the pretest:
- Green: All monitors finished and there are no DTCs. The vehicle should pass the OBD portion of emissions testing.
- Red: There is a problem with car and the vehicle will most likely not pass.
- Yellow: The drive cycle is not yet complete or the mointors are not yet ready. The vehicle probably will not pass.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Failed emissions tests are very expensive (financially and emotionally) for customers. End the guesswork and put your customer's at ease with a pre test before running the official emissions test. When a long line of customers are waiting to get their vehicles tested use the IMready to keep them engaged, to build customer loyalty and goodwill for your shop.
AFTER REPAIR CUSTOMER SERVICE
What's worse is when a customer fails the official emissions test, has repairs done, and then fails the test a second time. Use the IMready to let the customer know when to get retested. Sell, rent or loan an IMready to customers after their vehicle as been repaired and let the customer drive the vehicle with the IMready until the LED turns green.
The IMready is designed with a low power/standby mode so it can safely stay installed on the vehicle, even when the vehicle is not running. It can take from 5-100 miles for the lights to turn from yellow to green or red.
PROGRAMABLE
Can be programmed for with 4 different configurations to cover California model year (96-current), fuel (gas/diesel/hybrid), and monitor status (All ready, up to 2 not ready, 1 not ready, EVAP not ready)
