Turbo Diagnostics 1 - July 27 & 29, 2021
Turbos deliver increased power, better fuel economy, reduced engine size/weight, and reduced emissions. This is part 1 of a two-part class where the instructor will cover how they function, how they are controlled, and diagnosing turbo driveability issues with scan data and electrical tests. Part 1 will specifically go over overboost & underboost, issues, why actual boost is sometimes different, bypass control, and more.

Engine Mechanical Testing 2 - September 14 & 16, 2021
There are two very effective, and very simple to perform engine mechanical tests: cranking current and cranking vacuum. Both tests can be performed in under 60 seconds, and can provide a wealth of information regarding the mechanical condition of a gasoline engine. The instructor will discuss how to perform both tests, and most importantly, discuss how to interpret the test results.

Start-Stop Tech for GM - October 26 & 28, 2021
