Engine Mechanical Testing 2 - September 21 & 23, 2021 
There are two very effective and simple to perform engine mechanical tests: cranking current and cranking vacuum. Both tests can be performed in under 60 seconds, and can provide a wealth of information regarding the mechanical condition of a gasoline engine. The instructor will discuss how to perform both tests, and most importantly, discuss how to interpret the test results.

Start-Stop Tech for GM - October 26 & 28, 2021 
Start-Stop technology can provide up to a 10% increase in fuel economy and is becoming more common on late model vehicles. This seminar will show how the technology works, what normal operation of the major components look like and provides a diagnostic process. If you suspect you have a problem with a certain part of Start-Stop, you can rely on the information in this class to guide you.

Turbo Diagnostics 2 – December 7 & 9, 2021 
Building on the previous Turbo class, part 2 will cover PCM / Electronic controls of wastegate, vacuum controlled wastegate, diagnostics for crankcase ventilation valves, diagnosing air leaks and using leak testing tools. Receive some hard to find turbo diagnostic specifications and a nifty smartphone VE calculator. Diagnostic examples will include Domestic, Asian and European vehicles.

Domestic Diagnostic Case Studies – December 7 & 9, 2021
Do you ever have a tough diagnostic problem and ask yourself “Could I have missed something in my diagnosis?” This class will cover a variety of diagnostic challenges and show you the importance of doing the research and settling on a diagnostic path or approach. Diagnose late model vehicles using wiring schematics, scan data, scope captures, multimeters, and other everyday tools.
