On July 28, 2015, BAR-OIS Software version 6.1 will become available to all stations. Stations performing BAR-OIS software Beta testing already have this release. This new release contains:

2. On VIN Manual Entry Screen, Red error box clears after a valid VIN is entered;
3. Tab order on Diesel and Non-diesel Visual Inspection Screen changed to: Continue Button > Back Button;
4. Print Button highlighted by default in Electronic Certificate Purchase Receipt;
5. Initial communication failures that are ultimately successful no longer show up as failed on the VIR;
6. Fixed data collection logic to ignore intermittent non-compliant response from 2008 Hyundai Veracruz and 2003-2006 Ford F150 Bifuel (gasoline with CNG or propane) so they can successfully communicate with the BAR-OIS software.
OIS not verified for WINDOWS 10

On July 29th Microsoft will begin releasing their highly anticipated Windows 10.
It is free for many registered uses of Windows 8.1 and older. Get the free upgrade.
But the BAR says don't install it yet!
The BAR and the DAD vendors, including Drew Tech, need to confirm their software works with the new Windows 10.
