AESwave.com has something for every lab scope!

If your scope is new, chances are it did not include all the 'extras' you wanted.

If your scope is old, it’s probably missing a few ‘essentials’ and could use some ‘extras’.

AESwave.com will help you find those missing ‘essentials’ and help you determine the ‘extras’ that will keep your scope up to date with the latest diagnostic techniques for measuring voltage, current, pressure, and even vacuum.

ADAPTERS
Good news! With the correct adapter you can use practically any test lead, transducer, piercing probe, current probe, etc... with practically any scope.
- For scopes with BNC use the BNC Male to Banana Plug Female (socket)
- For scopes and meters with Banana Plugs use the Banana Plug Male to BNC Female

CURRENT PROBES
Just because a lab scope does not automatically scale or label its screen for current does not mean it cannot be used with current probes. These probes measure the magnetic field created by the current and convert that measurement to a voltage which the scope displays.
- High Current Probes
- Low Current Probes
Clamping a bulky current probe around a small wire can be difficult, get a buddy.
Remember, with the right adapter, you can connect any current probe to your scope.

TEST LEADS
Shielded test leads are a must for automotive lab scopes, without shielded leads it is common for scopes to display too much noise in the signal. If your scope leads are not shielded, get some now. If you have shielded and want replacements we have them available in 6-ft and 10-ft lengths.  We can also build custom leads.

TEST LEADS FOR SECONDARY
All lab scopes, even industrial lab scopes, are capable of displaying a secondary waveform.
When a plug wire is easily accessible and you can get close to the spark plug, use a clamp-style secondary.
When a plug wire is not easily accessible or the spark plug is deep in the coil pack, use a paddle-style secondary.
Need to view all cylinders at one time on your lab scope screen ?
For HEI use an adapter plate along with a clamp-style secondary.
For DIS use a signal mixer.
For COP, invent a method and get rich.
In the unlikely event all the coils are easily accessible, and you are not a flatrater, you could use plug wire extenders and then connect a signal mixer.

TEST LEADS FOR PRIMARY
Primary voltage usually exceeds the voltage input of most scopes, but with a primary lead from AESwave most any scope can be used to safely view primary signals.

TEST LEADS FOR SYNCHING
Multi-channel lab scopes let you view 2, 4, or even 8 signals at a time. A synch probe let’s you see how each signal is behaving in relation to a repetitive signal, such as, CAM or ignition firing.T

TRANSDUCERS
Add a whole new dimension to your scope and measure pressure and vacuum with a transducer.  Just because a lab scope does not automatically scale or label its screen for pressure or vacuum does not mean it cannot be used with a transducer.
Just about any transducer can be used with any scope.

POWER SUPPLIES
PC-based scopes typically get power from the PC via the USB.  Handheld scopes still need batteries and AC adapters.
