Effective? Or just Hype?

I'm not convinced reality meets the marketing on this product. The trigger is hard to push and I always spray out more than I need. And, at $24 a can. It is pricey. It seems the color will automatically turn to the yellowish-white just sitting there. I tried it on a rear evaporator. It changed color but no bubbling. So, it does work. A little.
