COP Diagnostics with the PicoScope by ScannerDanner
This 43-minute case study by ScannerDanner (aka Paul Danner) focuses on 3- and 4-pin COP systems. He starts ‘lo-tech’ and hands-on to evaluate the vehicle then gets in-depth and ‘hi-tech’ with a wiring diagram and a Picoscope (and Smartboard) to explain operation, vehicle connections, and diagnosis.
After analyzing the wiring diagram (minute 20:00), he explains the vehicle connections to make with his lab scope, shows his connections on the car, sets up his Pico scope, and captures a signal, then goes in for the diagnosis.
