Shipping Methods
We ship via UPS or USPS to all 50-states and US Territories and international destinations.
Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, APO, FPO and US Territories:  Since UPS offers only their most expensive services to these destinations you can save money by selecting US Postal Priority or Express for your delivery.  
Shipments to APO, FPO addresses: available only via USPS.  
Most shipments originate in California and ship within 24-hours. Approximate ground delivery times to the:
- East coast: 5 business days
- Midwest: 3-4 business days
- Mountain states and West coast: 2-3 business days
- California: 1 business day for most of California
Expedited shipping is available at additional cost.
Canadian customers we urge you to select USPS to avoid brokerage fees!
Since brokerage fees and import taxes are not included in your shipping costs, we recommend you select USPS (Postal).
Shipping costs for USPS (Postal) are more expensive but since the postal service does not charge brokerage fees 
your overall cost will be lower if you ship via USPS (Postal).
Please note, your shipment is still subject to GST and Provincial tax. (But sometimes they don't collect it.)
If you ship via UPS you will be required to pay the following fees at time of delivery:
- Brokerage Fees: Call UPS at 800-461-9999 or visit
- GST of 7% added to total on invoice
- Provincial Tax. Shipments to businesses are not subject to the Provincial Tax but may be added.
AESwave is not responsible for paying any of these fees.
How do you eliminate Brokerage Fees for Canadian shipments?
- Ship via UPS Express or Expedited.  UPS includes the brokerage fees in the cost of shipping.
- Ship via USPS (Postal).  Sometimes, the mail gets through customs without brokerage fees.
International Shipments
You are responsible for paying any taxes, duties, and brokerage fees that are imposed by shipping or customs agents. Contact your local customs officials to get an estimate.  AES does not charge any taxes or brokerage fees for international orders.
Lost or Delayed Shipments
Delayed in Transit: Shipments can be lost or delayed for a number of reasons:
- Wrong address
- Address cannot be located
- Customs (international shipments only)
- Disasters
- Lost by shipper
- No one available to receive the package
When UPS loses a package:
- We will initiate a TRACER which typically takes 7 days to complete.
- We will determine how to proceed on a case by case basis
When USPS loses a pacakge:
- We will consider the package lost and will determine how to proceed on a case by case basis.
