Fuel Trims - Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Sensors, Operation and Diagnostics, a Wells Tech webinar

Due to increasing emissions standards on modern day vehicles a more accurate and responsive way to measure the air/fuel ratio was required. In comes the air/fuel ratio sensor, or wideband oxygen sensor, or UEGO sensor, or whatever it may happen to be called by each specific vehicle manufacturer. These sensors have many different names, but their job is the same... Accurately monitor and inform the engine computer of the air/ fuel ratio. In this class we explain how a wideband sensor works, and how to diagnose it. Also, we have 2 different vehicles to perform tests on to show how these sensors function. Equipment used: VERUS and Pico.
