The Universal Secondary Test Lead Kit combines the two most popular styles of secondary leads into one for complete coverage on COP, DIS, HEI, Dist.

One lead with interchangeable ends:
- The traditional clamp most usually placed over the plug wire.
- The flexible paddle which makes secondary COP a quick and easy test. Coil construction can prevent capturing a waveform with any paddle probe. 4-wire and some 3-wire coils will not produce usable waveforms.

It works with your scope!
The Universal Secondary Test Lead can be used with most if not all automotive scopes on the market today, including, uScope®, Snap-on VERUS, Pico, and many others.

No need for scope adapter!
We build the leads for your scope, tell us what you have and we will build the lead with the appropriate connector to ensure the best connection.  Ask us about your scope.

ST3 Test Leads are designed to withstand automotive environments. Each lead is constructed using quality shielded cable and connectors. They are insulation and resistance tested to ensure that they are of the highest possible quality. Each test lead features high quality BNC connectors or banana-plugs.
- Shielded from tip-to-tip for maximum noise immunity
- Heat resistant
- Flexible
- Small enough to easily pass under hoods and through windows for road testing.

Test Lead Configuration
- Connection to scope: The test lead is configured with either BNC or Banana-plugs for connecting to your scope (tell us which connector you need when placing your order). For scopes with banana plug inputs, the lead's ground banana plug is stackable to allowing other channels to access the scope's ground when using multiple channels.
- Connection to vehicle: Two connections are made at the vehicle: one for Ground and one for signal using either the  T-clamp or Paddle.

The uScope® and the the Paddle Probe

ScannerDanner uses AES' Universal Secondary Test Lead Kit (the Paddle Probe) to compare an open plug wire to a known-good on a Dodge Caravan 3.8. NOTE: The Paddle Probe used in the video has a BNC connector and Paul uses an adapter to connect it to the uScope. The Paddle Probe included with the uScope kit does not require an adapter.
